Lori M. Jones
Lori M. Jones is an award-winning author of women’s & children’s fiction and a fierce advocate for Congenital Heart Defect awareness and research. Her first children’s book, RILEY’S HEART MACHINE, was inspired by her own daughter’s heart defect, and her middle-grade novel, FREAKY HEART, follows the trials of a young teen with a complex heart condition.
Her novel, RENAISSANCE OF THE HEART, was awarded the silver medal by READERS’ FAVORITES in women’s fiction. She’s also the author of children’s book, CONFETTI THE CROC, novel LATE FOR FATE, and several of her short stories have been published in anthologies.
Lori sits on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Heart Foundation and she enjoys traveling to schools to deliver assemblies on writing stories from the heart.
